Saturday 30th September sees East Grinstead's Women's team welcome Nottingham University in the first of a Nottingham Double Header with the Men playing their counterparts later in the day. EG Women's roster includes a number of former Nottingham Uni graduates: Alexandra Malzer, Amy Thompson, Sally Sime, Mollie Mason with the latter three having joined EG last season. Nottingham University have become one of the pre-eminent University sides in Women's hockey having secured the BUCCS title multiple times in recent years. In the Nottingham side are Mile Welch, a former EG Goalkeeper as well as Eliza Wheeler who represented EG Women in the Eurohockey Championships in Milan in April 2022. This match is sure to be exciting with a lot of personal battles across the pitch.
